CORINTHIA LONDON WEDDING – SHAM & CHRIS
Sunshine on a rainy day, or maybe the other way round! Either way we had our fair share of weather variations for Sham & Chris on their big day, which for me started at the their home where Sham & Chris were surrounded by close family & friends. (which very much reflects their personalities). Next on the agenda was hot footing it up to Whitehall for the meat and bones of the day. Prior to the ceremony we were invited to pop up on the roof for some couple shots (sunny time), before heading back down for the nuptials and party time(rainy time).
I wish for the life of me I could remember the name of the lady that sung during reception, as she was fabulous. As one of Sham’s close friends, she agreed to sing a couple of songs to accompany the first dance and add a very personal touch to this part of the proceedings before Mr DJ took over and the masses joined in for the boogie woogie. I must also make mention of the gentleman that was sporting my very first ‘red suit’ at a wedding. Red suit with an orange shirt and tie combo is not something you would expect to see everyday (if ever), but this dude carried it off with such style and swagger that I may consider switching my new wedding attire from blue suits to red! Saying that, Chris looked pretty snappy in his blue number, so maybe I ll just get their tailors number.
As with any Corinthia London wedding, Sham & Chris enjoyed a level of service and attention rarely seen elsewhere on the wedding circuit (speak to Claire, she is a star and is fast becoming a ‘must have’ for any wedding!) I don’t get paid to say that, or even asked to, it is simply my observation from shooting over 350 weddings not just in Blighty, but overseas as well.
