Corinthia hotel weddings always put a spring in your step as a photographer and its certainly a firm favourite with yours truly. Corinthia Hotel London is tres chic and stylish with modern twist and a mighty warm welcome to boot. It also houses one of the very best Spas in London, so for all you brides out there be sure to check out ESPA life for all your pre wedding pampering. Should you need to take your man along with you, have no fear he will be most comfortable in the North Hall bar enjoying watching the world go by with a glass of something cold while you while away the hours in Spa heaven in the subterranean floors planning all things wedding. You could take him to the Spa obviously, but best get things straight from the start. You in the Spa, him in the bar!
Having stayed in both the London and Budapest hotels myself, I can vouch for the hospitality and service without hesitation. In a world where good quality high standards of service seem to be disappearing fast, it is certainly very refreshing to see it alive and well in the Corinthia Hotel Group.
Situated in Whitehall Place, in between Trafalgar Square and The River Thames, the hotel is perfectly placed to either host ceremony and reception or just your reception. The ballroom is pretty spectacular so either way you will be treating your guests to a grand evening. It goes without saying that they don’t just do weddings though and having photographed a couple of other events there myself I have seen how flexible the space can be.
Alexandra is the go to girl when it comes to all things weddings so be sure to get in contact and book in a little looksey around the hotel. I have worked alongside both girls on numerous occasions. Polite, professional and mighty friendly, always with one eye on what you brides appreciate on your wedding day you really will see the benefit of their experience and expertise.

You can see from the image of Sarah & Morteza above, when I shoot Corinthia Hotel Weddings, I like to utilize the outside space as well. Sometimes we get lucky and are able to shoot in one of the penthouses with a roof terrace, whereas on other occasions we just head out front and take in whatever Whitehall and the locale offers at that particular time. Suffice to say though that choices are never is short supply and we have all bases covered.
When it comes to other suppliers for your wedding, look no further than By Appointment Only Design for fabulous floral extravaganzas and be sure to check out the utterly talented Michael at Story Of Eve for your wedding film needs. For your cakes, stationary, musical requirements and everything else weddings related Alexandra & Soraya have the little black book of go to suppliers to put a smile on your face so be sure to check them out.

So here comes my own little caveat. No, I don’t get paid to write this but having shot over 500 weddings across the globe I think it’s a fair proclamation to say I have seen a few wedding venues. Some that will blow your socks off as well as your budget out of the water and some so simple and elegant that you would want to bottle the feeling they offered. There is no right or wrong with wedding venues. A pub in Camden can offer as much as a fit for your big day as a Finca in sunny Spain. It really is down to taste and I suppose to a certain extent cost.
There is an old saying though, ‘Do One Thing Well’ and when you see this in action I think its Ok to say so. Corinthia London Weddings fall into that category of doing one thing well but the one thing is hospitality. They know their hospitality onions. It is not just a simple as a smiley face or a “yes, of course, sir’, there is an intangible in play here and that is why they stand out. Not because of the swish surroundings or the stunning location but because they know what you want and what you need and what bride wouldn’t appreciate that?
