Getting married at the Waldorf Astoria, Syon Park was number one on the ‘to do’ list for Sarah & Daniel last Sunday, and they managed to do this with great aplomb. That and dance a lot, smile a lot and generally go about your wedding day as if its the best day of your life (which it is). Apart from the odd ‘my glass won’t smash’ incident during the ceremony, all was in fine order. Not sure if ‘fantastic’ is the right word to describe the Rabbi, but he was, so that’s the one I ll use, firstly conducting the ceremony and then leading the dancing (see wine bottle images – that isn’t easy).
Not quite sure how you can look radiant whilst being projected into the air from a sheet, but Sarah managed it, whereas Dan mastered a slightly less convincing look whilst being hoisted around on the chair!, but to be fair to him when his feet are on terra firma, he can move for a guy. I think they spent almost all the evening on the dance floor these two, and why not, the music was brill, they were having the time of their life and they were with each other!
p.s Should you be thinking of having your wedding at the Waldorf Astoria, I can heartily endorse the efficiency and friendliness of Sonia, they wedding lady, most helpful indeed.
